Harry & David for the Hostess
For those of you who are not familiar, Harry & David is an online destination for gourmet Gift Baskets, desserts, and wines that have been my “go-to gifts” for hostesses, new baby, and get well soon gifts, for years!! After all, who doesn’t want to come home to a basket of gourmet treats!! But recently I was re-introduced to the brand as a “go-to destination for hostesses looking to throw a beautiful cocktail party or dinner party”. When I read the concept I thought to myself, “why hadn’t I thought of that sooner!!” Not only does it take the work out of grocery shopping, but it also elevates your display with truly elegant (not available at your local grocery) offerings.
From wine and cheese baskets (which include all the goods from premium salami, artisanal cheeses, and a bake-at-home French baguette included along with basil Parmesan olive oil, a black olive spread, and cherry pepper bruschetta), to main courses like USDA Prime Filet and Salmon, to their endless desserts, like their famous chocolate caramel apples and assorted cookies, and even wines!!
Harry & David’s new Fall products are here along with their new collection of wines and sparkling wine, so I decided to host a gourmet gathering of my own – focusing on all the sweets!! I invited guests over after dinner and created an over-the-top dessert station. On my coffee table I placed chocolate caramel apples and chocolate covered strawberries on glass cake stands alongside pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate covered fruits. Then you know I love my cheese boards so I chose their Deluxe Pears, Apples, and Cheese and whipped up a platter (on a cake stand!) in seconds. My friends and I love white wine so I chose their White Wine Trio to serve alongside my display.
Entertaining has never been so easy!! Thanks to Harry & David for partnering on this beautiful gourmet experience!!
