Cinco de Mayo Margarita Bar Cart

With Cinco de Mayo around the corner, I wanted to share the perfect Fiesta inspiration with this bright and cheery Cinco de Mayo Bar Cart, complete with the essentials – MARGARITAS!!

I decked out my Society Social bar cart with the cutest decorations and the yummiest drinks… here’s a look!

I wanted delicious Margaritas that would be easy to whip up on the fly, so I used Master of Mixes combined with Astral Tequila… and that’s it! The Master of Mixes blend is a delicious mix of Key lime juice, essential citrus oils used in triple sec and a touch of simple syrup and pure agave nectar for a naturally refreshing authentic flavor. I am not a fan of super sweet drinks and I have to say these are JUST right! They can be served on the rocks or blended, but since my party is outdoors, we went with rocks! I also recommend you buy the Master of Mixes salt to salt the rims for that extra hostess touch! As for the Astral Tequila… Β it’s made withΒ 100% organic Blue Weber Agave sourced from Jalisco, Mexico and is hand-crafted using methods reminiscent of the way tequila was produced 150 years ago. It’s smooth and great for Margaritas.Β I made batches of my classic margaritas in a pitcher and served them into acrylic margarita glasses with salted rims and a lime slice floating on top.

On to the decor which is TOO FUN! As I said before, I created my display on myΒ Society Social bar cartΒ which is great indoors or outdoors, but most of all, has a nice spacious top for serving drinks {I find many bar carts are way too tight on space!}. I started by placing my Grandin Road Pineapple Icebuckets on the top and bottom levels. Yes, they are ice buckets but I forgot to snap a photo of them open! See them filled with iceΒ here. Then aren’t theΒ cactus piΓ±atasΒ and rainbow colored donkey piΓ±atas amazing for adding a pop of color?! I fell in love with this brand {Lula Flora Designs} last Cinco de Mayo and thought of them the second I started planning! Then another pop of color are the gorgeous beaded evil eye coasters from Kim Seybert. Sold in a pack of four, the “Jinxed Coasters” have a gorgeousΒ bohemian flair to them.

When it comes to entertaining outdoors I am all about using acrylic! I found these acrylic margarita glasses at Bed Bath and Beyond but I linked another great option below! Be sure to check out my “Shop the post” for all the decor!

And speaking of the outdoors, I have to mention the amazing bright pink flamingos floating in the backdrop. I knew I wanted a pop of color in the backyard to add to the party, so when I saw these pool floats on Frontgate, I knew they were a must!

Cheers!
