When we moved into our new apartment, I didn’t know if Baby Brooks would be a boy or girl, so much like Reese’s initial nursery, I started by creating a grey and white room filled with all grey and white decor. I choose all white nursery furniture: the Bloom Alba Mini Crib from Giggle, the 3-Shelf Cameron bookcase from Pottery Barn Kids, the Skylar Dresser Changing Table from Pottery Barn Kids, the Claiborne White Floor Lamp from Kenroy Home, the grey Ubbi diaper pail, and lastly we recycled Reese’s grey rocking chair {similar here}. We also put a twin sized bed in the room complete with grey and white polka dot bedding with matching pillows.
Once Baby Brooks arrived, I accessorized to really make the room his own! I started by ordering custom grey and white chevron totes {with his name embroidered} at Pottery Barn Kids to organize his baby blankets, towels and burp pads. Then for the nursery artwork, I wanted something very sweet and simple, so I fell in love with three prints by Creative Thursday. I had them framed with beautiful white frames by the company Framed and Matted.
