Wallpaper for the Win

As you know it takes time to finally tackle decorating all the rooms in a home, and I have to admit I lost steam earlier this year. So this summer I finally set some goals to tackle the remaining rooms, and in the last month finally completed two important ones, our homework room and my daughter’s bedroom. The last two rooms on my list felt boring and un-styled no matter what furniture I chose… at first I wasn’t sure what todo and then I got the best idea – WALLPAPER! Wallpaper is making such a comeback and I now see why… it gives a room an instant lift; it really makes a room interesting and exciting.

For Reese’s room I wanted something pretty and timeless (see the before of her room on my Instagram). Ultimately, I chose the most beautiful wallpaper called the Riley Scallop Blush Pink Wallpaper from CailiniCoastal.com. The blush-hued mosaic scallop design is a Cailíní Coastal-exclusive which comes from Houston-based artist and designer, Kristen Leigh. The wallpaper is perfect for any little girl’s room from baby to tween, like Reese.
