Living that Spritz Life

My go-to cocktail once the weather warms up is an Aperol Spritz, a cocktail I discovered a few years back in Northeast Italy. It has quickly become incredibly popular here in the states and is a fan favorite whenever I host guests.

A bit bitter and a bit sweet with refreshing orange flavor, the cocktail’s ingredients are simple (which make them ideal when hosting guests!): 1 1/4 oz Aperol, 2 oz Prosecco, a splash of Soda water, and an orange wedge. Really beautiful and bright in color, as you can see here on my patio, and perfectly refreshing for a hot evening (or lunch if you are so lucky to indulge!!).

So go ahead and treat yourself to the most refreshing cocktail. You will thank me later!! Cheers to the spritz life.
