Holiday Home Tour 2019

Holiday Home Tour 2019

I am so excited to share my favorite Holiday Home Tour and I am so excited to be a part of the “Loviest Looks of Christmas Tour” alongside some incredibly talented Home Bloggers (so be sure to check each of them out – I have provided links at the bottom of my post!).

Welcome… I changed up a few things this year and rather than placing a large tree in our foyer like I have done in previous years (see last year), I moved our tree to our Family Room for a much cozier Christmas. Then for my color story, I went with all gold and white and it feels like a white winter wonderland (or as close as we can get here in Miami!!).

My tree is the Sparkling Snow Color Changing 9β€² Full Profile Tree from Frontgate. Compared to last year’s Frontgate tree, this tree is a much softer white tree (with tons of glittered flocking that looks like it’s covered in snow). My newest ornaments are from Frontage’s 60-Piece Precious Metals Ornament Collection and the finishing touch is the  4β€³ Precious Metals Fine Glitter Gold Ribbon which I cut and twirled throughout the tree.

Our Foyer

While I didn’t do a tree in our foyer, I made up for it by covering our entire banister is stunning garlands. I chose the Gilded Elegance Garland from Frontgate because it matched my golds theme. Then I used my shelves and consoles for displaying my Simon Pearce Glass Trees, Pottery Barn Stockings, and other festive decorations.

Our Merry Kitchen

I have never decorated our kitchen for Christmas before but now I can’t imagine it any other way!! So festive and bright and the kids love looking at all the decorations each morning (noticing something new each day!). I am in love with the Grandin Road Christmas mugs, the nutcrackers, and the kids of course love the edible treats. It’s truly merry & bright!!

At the Bar

I wanted to decorate our bar with a romantic glow that says “come have a drink and stay a while”! I placed tray of gold rimmed flutes on display for guests to help themselves (and placed a garland and twinkle lights in the backdrop. How cute is this West Elm marble footed tray for displaying glasses!!

Holiday Party Time

I wouldn’t be the Fashionable Hostess if I didn’t share a look at a Holiday party I threw in our family room to kick off the season. I served up the most festive cranberry cocktails, decorated my coffee table with mercury trees and twinkle lights galore, and even attached little jingle balls to my plaid napkins. The party couldn’t have been more festive!!

In our Library

Our library is a cozy sunroom in our house overlooking the backyard. We have bookshelves of books, paper and pens for homework, and big cozy chairs to snuggle up with a book. So I thought why not add a beautiful tree to this space as well because we spend so much time in here!! I just love the way the blue ornaments tie in perfectly with the two chairs.

This is the Frontgate Sparkling Snow Color Changing 7-1/2′ Full Profile Tree filled with the ornaments I used on our large tree last year.

Holiday Bedroom

While I am not one to put a tree in our bedroom, I do love a few accents, like these gorgeous Pottery Barn mercury trees on the bedside tables. And of course I want the bed to feel extra cozy this time of year so I added knitted throw blankets with the cutest pom poms!!
