Fall Home Tour 2018

Welcome to my Fall Home Tour! I am so excited to share how I decorated my home with a soft and neutral color palette of Fall decorations, focusing on green and ivory tones. I am just loving the subtleness of the decorations in each room and hope you will to! Welcome to the #MiaChateauFH!

Family Room

Starting with our family room where I created this beautiful pumpkin centerpiece display for our coffee table. I took a whicker tray and filled it with faux green and white pumpkins on a bed of faux eucalyptus. By going faux, I plan to recycle and repurpose a lot of these pieces for Thanksgiving! After placing the pumpkins in a sort of staggered {dare I say messy} way, I added in the faux eucalyptus branches to give it volume. Again, not striving for perfection… I wanted that “natural and organic feel”.

*Notice my family room looks a bit different? We are in the midst of transitioning the room to a new look, starting with this beautiful art from Kathy Kuo Home {compare it to last home tour}. Excited to share more on this project in the coming month!

The Bar

Over at the bar I created an elegant display using a lot of gorgeous glass pieces. I really like to dress things up a bit come Fall, so I opted for my Juliska Amalia glasses for wine, a vintage footed crystal dish, which I filled with mini white pumpkins, and a large Juliska Berry & Thread Hurricane filled with real eucalyptus. While faux can be so easy to work with, I do appreciate real eucalyptus for it’s fresh smell!

The Bar Cart

In the corner of our family room we have a little nook by the window {that I will actually be adding drapery to in the coming weeks!}. For now though, I thought I would give this windowsill some life by adding this “gather” sign from Grandin Road. On my rose gold bar cart, a Homegoods find that is one of my favorites, I decorated the top tier with a Mackenzie-Childs Parchment Bowl filled with mini white pumpkins {from Trader Joes}, while on the bottom tier I placed more faux pumpkins.

The Shelfie

Heading into our kitchen I was SO excited to decorate our new built-in shelving for the season. Here I swapped out most of the pastel colors and added in Fall accessories. HOW CUTE is this “calligraphy pumpkin”!!! I saw some of these last year on Pinterest and was determined to order myself one this season – and voila, I did. Then I had this gold “thankful” frame from a year or so ago, which is too cute. I love framed word art.

The Dining Room

In our dining room, I kept things simple. A gold Grandin Road wreath hanging above our mirror and a few serving pieces with Fall detailing from Vagabond House. On my table I placed the Ivy Tablecloth from Mode Living, which has a beautiful gold leaf print. For my centerpiece I created a runner of faux eucalyptus and scattered a collection of white and green pumpkins. If you love white pumpkins centerpiece ideas be sure to check out my Thanksgiving table from last year which was probably one of my most popular posts of the year.

The Entry

Then heading to my entry and to the outdoors. I love the way our stairwell looks with pumpkins and eucalyptus cascading the steps. If your front door opens to a stairwell, this becomes a prime decorating space and a gorgeous way to greet guests that enter your home.

Outside, I placed Fall wreaths {a repeat from last year} from Grandin Road, and two locus low planters on either side of my front door with white mums. I know it’s not nearly as decorated as most Fall front doors, but with all the random rain spells in Miami it’s hard to put a lot of decorations outside!!
