Thanksgiving marks the start of the Holiday season, and today I wanted to share a beautiful Thanksgiving table I created that is perfect for bringing together your loved ones, featuring the Villeroy & Boch’s New Wave Collection. It’s wave-like curves and modern appearance work with any style table, and the best part… this premium porcelain is dishwasher and microwave safe, making holiday entertaining a bit less stressful.
With a range of pieces to choose from, from plates to bowls, to platters to mugs, your table and buffet can look perfectly cohesive! I am excited to share how I mixed this beautiful dishware and an array of faux and real white pumpkins to create a tablescape that really can work all Holiday season long. I am thrilled to share a closer look at this table today!
To create my table, I chose Villeroy & Boch New Wave Dinner Plates layered under the New Wave Pasta Bowl. Then for flatware I chose the Villeroy & Boch stainless steel New Wave Flatware for a glossy, high-end look. The set I linked to includes eight of each the following: dinner forks, knives and spoons, plus teaspoons and salad forks, and is dishwasher safe. For drinking glasses I chose two sizes of the Villeroy & Boch Boston Goblets in grey and clear; their grey color is called smoke {see a link here}.
To create my centerpiece, I laid fresh eucalyptus branches down the center of my table and sprinkled a variety of white pumpkins on top. The larger faux pumpkins were from Target while the smaller ones are actually live pumpkins I picked up at a local pumpkin patch! For napkins I chose white Kim Seybert Linens with a delicate embroidery at the edge. And over at my buffet I hung a beautiful Grandin Road Southern Harvest Wreath above my mirror for an added Fall feel.
I was inspired by the large New Wave Bowls to whip up a delicious healthy edamame pasta dish. For a closer look at the recipe, head to this FH post! Then for a selection of toppings I used the New Wave Dip Bowls for crushed red pepper and parmigiana. I love how these serving pieces dress up even the simplest dishes!
I hope this tablescape has gotten you excited about the Holidays. It’s hard to believe they will be here before you know it! Wishing you and your family a wonderful start to the Holiday season!
