Six Ideas for throwing the Best Valentine’s Day Party

Hosting a party this Valentine’s Day? Here are six party tips to make it a party to remember!

#1 Fancy Ice Cubes

Dress up your water station with Valentine’s themed ice cubes. Take red fruits like strawberries and raspberries and freeze them in ice cube trays {I have one that makes ice cubes in the shape of gems – here!}. Then make a pitcher of refreshing strawberry and mint water to serve alongside it {I made mine in a sleek Simon Pearce glass pitcher}! Don’t forget to top your drinks with Valentine’s themed straws!

#2 Heart Shaped Avocado Toasts

Not only a healthy treat but beyond adorable and super easy to make! Toast your bread to make it stiff {easier for cutting}, plus adds some yummy crunch! Then use a heart cookie cutter to trace hearts and cut away the crust. Top with smashed avocados, sea salt, and a dash of red chili pepper flakes.

#3 Sweets Sweets Sweets

Go overboard on sweets! I took Oreos {vanilla and chocolate} and dipped in melted white chocolate and then sprinkled with Valentine’s themed sprinkles. I also filled lots of candy dishes with various Valentine’s candies from pink jelly beans to white chocolate Reese’s peanut butter hearts!

#4 Festive Cheers

Take your Champagne to the next level with sprinkle rimmed flutes {and really impress guests with Valentine’s hearts sprinkles!} I took my Lenox flutes which have a nice long glass, dipped in honey, and then immediately dipped into a bowl of heart sprinkles. I left my flutes face down to dry on wax paper for several hours before flipping over {so they don’t drip!}. Once my champagne was poured, I topped my drinks with these fun “love” drink stirrers!

#5 Party favors

I filled cellophane bags with popcorn, candy hearts, and sprinkles. Once I secured the bag, I glued on felt hearts for decoration.

#6 Balloon Garland

I ordered my balloon garland from PJB Creations {who can make pretty much any design – she’s based in Miami!}, but any sort of fun balloons or garland decor in pink or red will look great as a backdrop to your party table!

Hope your Valentine’s Day celebration is a success!
