Last month I made my way back to New York and one of the main events on my agenda was attending the World Market Launch in Chelsea on 18th Street and 6th Avenue. Prior to the store opening I had only shopped on WorldMarket.com, so entering the store was seriously another level of excitement {you probably remember I styled their bronze lanterns in a recent outdoor tabletop post}. To make it even more legit, who hosted the event but Ms. Kelly Osbourne, who was just as amazing in person as she is on TV, and such a good sport taking pictures with all of the attendees, including me and my fellow NYC bloggers pals.

But of course, knowing me, I was really excited to finally see all of the home decor items in person. For example, I have been on the hunt for a light fixture for my bathroom since we moved. I needed something antique brass to match the rest of the fixtures, I wanted something kind of funky cool, and price was key, but I kept finding it hard to find the perfect match online. Then I got a glimpse of the stunning tabletop items… and while I know I really don’t need any more dinnerware, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the White Baroque Set for my new everyday dishware. Of course I have already gotten to work styling them for an upcoming Fall tabletop story, but here is a teaser!
