In celebration of their new Holiday collections, Villeroy & Boch launched an ‘around the world’ campaign. The goal: one blogger from each country around the globe would showcase a dinner party using Villeroy & Boch dinnerware, and Villeroy & Boch would share the finished products on their site. Selected as the blogger to represent the United States {seriously, in shock over here!!}, I chose their La Classica Contura dinnerware to create today’s stunning winter white tablescape. As a new Southerner, this elegant white china felt right at home sitting in my new dining room. And the timing was perfect as well, with holiday entertaining just around the corner.  Make sure to visit the Villeroy & Boch’s website, which is filled with inspiration from other blogger’s tabletops!!

To create my dinner party I used my Villeroy & Boch tall candlesticks to line the center of my table almost like a runner. Then on either end I placed a home-made floral arrangement of beautiful white Fall flowers – white roses, white pom poms, and dusty miller. I especially love the style of the La Classica Contura plates I chose from Villeroy & Boch for this table, so much so, that I decided to not place a salad or bread out when guests arrived in order to not hide the intricate pattern {and you know how much I love white!}. Then over on my buffet table I did a preview of dessert for people to eye throughout dinner. A coconut cake with sliced figs on top and a tiered dessert stand of fresh fruits. I am in love with the finished look!
