The Ultimate Holiday Cheeseboard
The Ultimate Holiday Cheeseboard and the perfect wine pairings to complement are my two essentials when it comes to hosting this Holiday season. Today I served wines from California-based, certified sustainable Raeburn winery, a Sonoma County standout known for crafting exceptionally elegant Chardonnay and fruit forward Pinot Noir. On today’s menu: Raeburn Sonoma County Chardonnay 2021, Raeburn Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2020, and the yummiest selection of rich cheeses by Miyokos Creamery, Cowgirl Creamery, and Laura Chenel. Here’s a look at how I styled my board with pumpkins, whole wheat baguette, and more!
Hosting Tip
Today I wanted to share a fun Hosting Tip!! Don’t forget to follow the 20 Minute Rule!! Pop red wine in the fridge 20 minutes before serving to bring out its fruity flavors, meanwhile take your white wine and cheeses OUT of the fridge 20 minutes before serving; this will keep your chardonnay from tasting too muted, and allow your cheese to drop to room temperature making for better texture and flavor. Cheers!!
Thank you to Raeburn Winery for partnering on this post.
