Simply Elegant White and Blush Tablescape

Today I wanted to share a tablescape that I created over the Holidays… not for any specific occasion, but just because I ended up hosting endless dinners during the course of December, and this was too pretty not to share. What I love though is that you really can replicate the table year round, and for pretty much any occasion. A dinner party, bridal shower, birthday, or girls night.

Some takeaways from my tables… 1. Note is that I mixed and matched my silver Villeroy & Boch plates and silver silverware with napkins that have gold embroidery… I am totally for it! 2. I had to add four extra chairs from my kitchen (2 at each end) to fit all of my guests. To keep the table looking elegant I always recommend adding in extra chairs at the ends. 3. I was so tight on space, I skipped out on chargers… when doing so, I always recommend using a tablecloth as a foundation for the table (this one is by Mode Living, called the Berlin style). 4. I also ran out of the same silverware, so again Iย mixed in a different set on the ends. My point here is… A. even the FH doesn’t have 100 of everything, so don’t worry that guests expect you to! B. If you run out of napkins, silverware, etc, just place something different at the two heads of the table, rather than having one odd seat! Or better yet, mix in a complimentary set every other chair! It will look intentional!

Hope you enjoy this sea of whites and that sweet hint of blush, as well as a few of my hostess secrets! I created a “Shop the Post” below!
