Tutus & End of Year Cheer

Happy almost New Year everyone!

When I reflect back on 2015 I simply can’t believe how much has happened. We moved from New York City {the #ChateauFH} to Nashville {the #TNChateauFH}. Fashionable Hostess hit some of my life-long goals; I had a fabulous review via “Behind the Blog” on Style Me Pretty, Fashion Week Daily named FH a “Blogger Spotlight”, and my Home Tour was featured in the New York Times!

Then on the home front, Reese and Brooks have gone from what feels like little babies to chatty, active, and absolutely hysterical toddlers. They love to play together but more importantly, they really love each other. My favorite part of the day is around bedtime when Reese puts her arm around Brooks and holds him close for their last TV show or bedtime story. It truly warms my heart.

To bring in the New Year we are spending time with family in Miami, so we decided to shoot our last look of the year here. No coats necessary {and to be honest sleeves were even pushing it} but Reese just cannot get enough of her tutu dresses. {Here she is wearing an Old Navy 2-in-1 floral tutu.} Like most three year olds, she just loves to spin and twist in every which way, so these dresses have become her staple. As for shoes, I will tell you that Old Navy has been my go-to for cute boots for Reese all year long. I bought her brown ones {this post}, black ones {this post}, and now grey! Reese loves that these are fur lined, aka “so cozy mommy” while I love that they go with dresses and pants to instantly finish off the look.

I am so grateful that you have joined me and my family on this year’s ride and I look forward to a big and eventful 2016 together!
