The Event
Over Miami Swim Week, Kristin Chambless, the blogger behind Color by K, and myself decided to team up to host an intimate brunch for some of Miami’s top influencers. We found the most perfect backdrop, a gorgeous waterfront home on Miami Beach, and came up with the theme “summer citrus” sprinkling oranges, lemons, and limes every which way you turned.
The final event was a true success with over 25 blogger attendees accumulating to a social reach of over 2.1 million followers. The decor was one of my favorites to date. Vintage furniture adorned with lush garlands, sliced citrus, colored glassware, and calligraphy name cards.
Guests enjoyed sparkling wine by Clos du Bois and a healthy menu of organic citrus themed salads and fish. Then to finish off the day the attendees “shopped” our gifting suite filled with all your “Miami” essentials from sunscreens to straw totes to makeup. A combination of the backdrop, decor, and Miami sunshine made it one to remember! I am so excited to share photos today!
Welcome!
The bloggers arrived to the private residence’s pool over-looking the water and enjoyed a brief cocktail hour with Lightly Bubbled Rosé and Chardonnay from Clos du Bois* {see the Lightly Bubbled selection here}. These lightly bubbled wines were especially perfect and refreshing on a hot summer day, with just the right hint of sweetness! After endless photos, we headed to the citrus tables for a sit-down brunch!
*Please remember that you must 21+ to enjoy
The tables…
As I mentioned, these “citrus tables” were some of my favorite tablescapes to date. Perfect for summer but incredibly versatile and bright, the guests were oooh-ing and ahhh-ing over the endless details.
We rented the Vintage Hampton Farmhouse Tables from Unearthed Rentals {link} as well as the Vintage Bowie Chairs {link}. We started by laying a lush green garland from The Garland Guy {link} down the center, topping with sliced fruit from grapefruits to lemons and oranges.
At each pacesetting we placed Kim Seybert Provence Placemat in Natural {link} and Villeroy & Boch Artesano Original Dinner Plates {link}. For glassware, we chose Villeroy & Boch Boston Goblets in green {link} and Villeroy & Boch Ovid White Wine Glasess {link}. We folded Kim Seybert Tapestry Napkins {link} and on top placed a lemon with Calligraphy Name Cards from J. Lily Design {link}. Throughout the party we had decorative oversized balloons in complimentary colors to our fruit from PJB Creations {link}.
Guests then sat down to a healthy lunch and talked about their favorite Miami Swim Fashion Week shows. All the while Kristin and I stayed busy refreshing everyone’s wine and fresh lemon water.
Gifting Suite
Come the end of the party, the girls were invited to “shop” the gifting suite which was a whole store display we set up with tons of goodies. This was probably one of the most fun parts! The girls each chose a Sole Society Tote and filled it with Rewined Candles, Urban Decay Facial Spray, Garnier Sheet Masks, Hart Hagarty Tassel earrings, Lisi Lerch Gold Earrings. They took home Vera Bradley Rose Gold Cosmetic Bags and umbrellas, COOLA sunscreen, and Take My Face off reusable makeup remover mitts.
Success
The party was a true success and the girls had a blast! I will definitely be doing a series of posts over the next few days sharing more looks at the party and how to re-create the citrus theme at your own party! A big thank you to the gals who attended and the brands that participated!!
