Kick off Spring with this Tablescape

Spring is here so I wanted to host a beautiful, bright, and healthy affair for guests on my patio. On my table… gorgeous and lush floral arrangements, an over-flowing cheese board of Spring favorites, individual cheese boards at each table setting {a detail guests always love!}, and a selection of healthy juices {because something about Spring sparks everyones interest in healthy eating!}. I am excited to share a closer look at all the details…

There is nothing more inviting that a huge cheese board exploding with options awaiting guests as they arrive. For today’s platter I chose manchego, brie, goat, and cubed white cheddar for my cheeses. Then I chose sliced salami, green olives, and cornichons for a hint of salty, and dates, cranberry crackers, and apple slices for a bit of sweetness. Bread sticks and cucumbers were the final additions, topped off with a sprinkle of fresh ground pepper all over! This cheese board is from Nambe and the cheese knife is from Julia Knight.

Last Spring I gave each guest a personal wooden cutting board with appetizers and it was a hit, so today I created a version of that with antipasto favorites… sliced white cheddar, cranberry crackers and a small bowl of olives. I love that this serves a healthy and delicious alternative to bread and butter!

Everyone wants to be a bit healthier come Spring so I thought a delicious juice bar would be a popular station. I whipped up some home-made juices {I recommend ones in different colors!} and placed them in these beautiful Juliska carafes. Alongside the juices I placed these beautiful Juliska glasses in their Berry & Thread pattern. After guests poured their drink of choice, I offered them a selection of fresh fruits and a stalk of mint to top of the drink. I recommend fruits like pineapple, oranges, and strawberries!

Like I mentioned in my recent Spring Tablescape Styling Post, this season I am embracing the natural tones and textures of my outdoor tables rather than hiding them under a tablecloth {and I have to say this Frontgate table is so gorgeous… I am not sure why I ever cover it up!!}.  One thing I will note for those of you choosing to skip a tablecloth is that I highly recommend placing your plate on top of a charger {in this post mine are Villeroy & Boch in white, which I love because they match back to everything}!

A few more details I LOVE about this table… the gorgeous crystal-like flatware from Kim Seybert. I was on a huge gold kick and these transitioned me back to silver, plus the lucite material is perfectly light and airy for Spring/ Summer. Then the Juliska white wash napkin rings because I have been looking for napkin rings that could work for a casual or fancy table, indoor or outdoor, and these do exactly that. I created a shop the post feature below so you can shop all of my favorite pieces from the posts! I am excited for a busy Spring.
