H&M Home Styling Project

Highlights of the H&M Home Collection H&M Home Items styled by Fashionable Hostess

Two weeks ago I made my way back to NYC for the first time since moving. It was a jam packed trip filled with PR appointments, store openings {I co-hosted the launch of World Market}, and meet-ups with friends at some of my favorite restaurants. But one of the coolest parts of my trip was was the day I was invited to H&M Headquarters to style their H&M Home Showroom.

The planning began a few weeks prior when they brought up the project, a chance to totally style their showroom with H&M Home‘s newest products while giving it the FH touch. I could hardly wait to get started!! First they sent photos of the space with the furniture layout and next was time for the creativity. I had full reign to choose whatever H&M home products I loved on their website to transform the space. {If you haven’t checked out their home collection, it is seriously amazing!} H&M home offers fashionable, chic, and affordable pieces from decorative accents to dinner party plates!

The outcome: I created a variety of vignettes with the different products, my favorite being the living and kitchen spaces. In their ‘living room’ which consisted of a couch and coffee table area, I decorated their coffee table like I always style mine {#FHCoffeeTable}. I fell hard for the variety of golds {like these small vases and these candle lanterns}, candles, and mini accents {like this metal box and this leaf dish}. Then to make the space cozy I chose their knit pillow covers and throw blankets for the couch.

Then I moved on to the kitchenware. At a small table and chairs I created a kitchen nook with their marble inspired collection which ranged from cutting boards, dishes, and candles. Then at a table alongside the kitchen that I created a dessert set-up with their playful printed plates and linen napkins.

It was an incredible project and I am so happy that H&M included me in such a cool opportunity!

Thanks to H&M for partnering on this post.
