A Special Sweet Treats for the Holidays

Is anyone else’s family on a total dark chocolate kick? We are obsessed and the Ghirardelli Intense Dark products are satisfying all our cravings!! So this Holiday season I thought it would be so much fun to do a little “dark chocolate taste test” dessert board, with mini packages of all the different dark chocolate options for guests to try.

The Intense Dark line has 72% Cacao, 86% Cacao and even 92% Cacao – talk about rich!! Then my personal favorites are the Intense Dark Sea Salt Almond and especially perfect for the holidays, the Intense Dark Raspberry. I served my decadent sweets on a white marble tray alongside a selection of fresh fruits – which is my favorite dessert combo.

Want to create a holiday dessert spread like I did here? Wrap a faux garland in twinkle lights and sprinkle gold and silver ornaments throughout. Then take gold and white small bowls and fill them with various fruits; red ones are recommended for the holidays – strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate seeds are a few of my favorites. I recommend opening a few of your dark chocolate squares, but leaving them alongside in the packaging allows people to see which flavor they are indulging in and adds great color to the board!! If you want to get really festive, serve alongside champagne with a sliced strawberry on the rim of the glass and spring of rosemary (which ties back to your garland). Serve and enjoy!!

I was so excited to create this holiday dessert spread so I could taste test the entire Intense Dark line, exploring its bold and intensely delicious flavors. This holiday season, Ghirardelli is making life #aBiteBetter one square at a time.

Excited to give these Ghirardelli Intense Dark flavors a try? Find them now in bars as well as individually-wrapped squares at a Publix near you!!
