Dinner Party Spotlight: Inspired By This

Isn’t this party just dreamy?! Today’s FH Dinner Party Series guests and the creators of this stunning display are the women behind Lifestyle Blog Inspired By This. A blog that is inspired by beautiful weddings, aspiring entrepreneurs, exquisite homes, working moms, and more, the founder Leila Lewis and Associate Editor Ally Streelman desire to bring that inspiration to you through their site! From the things they shop, to the cocktails they create, to the babies they are bringing up, Inspired By This is a lifestyle site dedicated to delivering beautiful content to readers at every stage of life.

Today’s incredible party, a work event with the Wedding PR Firm and design partners Gather Events and Archive Event Rentals, was created for  a party of 75 guests. The photos show the team’s keen attention to details, their love of color, and of course – over the top blooms! I am excited to share a bit more about what these ladies are like at home with a Q&A, and also to share an amazing “shop the post” at the bottom of the post, so you can re-create this party at home!

FH: What is your entertaining style? Traditional, Contemporary, Seasonal?

Inspired by This: Seasonal! I love creating a menu using in-season fruits and vegetables, and the traditional flavors and spices of the season. I also like when the decor matched the weather – warm and cozy in fall and winter, and light and colorful in spring and summer!

FH: How often do you entertain and for how many guests?

Inspired by This: This was a work event with a Wedding PR Firm for 75 people but typically I host 8-10 guests at a time in my own home.

FH: Do you have a go-to recipe or dish {or do you avoid cooking at all costs}?

Inspired by This: I love creating charcuterie boards with a variety of cheese, meats, fruits, nuts and accoutrements.

FH: Do you have a go-to cocktail?

Inspired by This: Yes! A jalapeño cucumber margarita!

FH: Did something inspire you for today’s table? A certain color, flower, plate?

Inspired by This: We wanted to create a super fab boho look for this dinner. With a stunning blank canvas like HNYPT, we also wanted to bring the space to life with gorgeous florals and color! So, we went with a 70s boho, “flower power” theme and a feminine and bright color scheme. I think it’s the perfect combo! The pastel, rose gold, and pops of citrus came together beautifully.
