Happy {almost} Labor Day!
Summer may unofficially be over after this weekend but that doesn’t mean the taste of summer has to dissipate all at once. I love to keep that freshness alive well into Fall by serving ‘fruit water’ at my lunch and dinner parties in a gorgeous glass pitcher. Today I chopped up organic strawberries that I picked up from the Union Square Greenmarket but other options include pineapple, blueberries, lemon, cucumber or even mint. For glasses, I love mason jars; and the finishing touch is to take the smallest strawberries from your pack and use them as garnish on the rims {see how I also used mason jars for my Yogurt Parfait recipe}. The finished product is a colorful and happy drink for adults and kids!
