For my mom’s 55th birthday, she decided to gather her ten closest friends and make a girls trip to NYC. On the agenda: fancy dinners, Broadway shows, and even night clubs, but I wanted to make sure to throw some sort of FH element into the mix. I decided the perfect way todo so would be to host a Pre-Theatre Happy Hour – with a gorgeous champagne and dessertsΒ spread at Chateau FH for the ladies to enjoy.
To make it extra special I added some personalized touches which made some great birthday party ideas. Since Moet & Chandon Rose ChampagneΒ was on the menu, I loved the idea of custom straws to enhance my bar area. I found an amazing Etsy shop calledΒ SheppardelyΒ that made handΒ calligraphied ones that could be tailored to say whatever you want, so I ordered two sets. On the first set Β I had “Leslie’s 55th” on the one side and herΒ birth date on the other. On theΒ second set I had them write “Party Time” on both sides. Mixed together, they were beyond cute!
On my dessert table, which I displayed front and center on my coffee table, I put together a cupcake tower using the most adorable mini cupcakes byΒ Baked by MelissaΒ accompanied by a glass full ofΒ C. Wonder Pom Poms. The pom poms were more for show since there weren’t any cocktails to mix. I then tookΒ mini Michael Aram picture framesΒ and used them as buffet labels. In myΒ entryway I filled the frames with labels that readΒ “Leslie’s Birthday Bash,” a perfect photo op idea.
On my coffee table: Jonathan AdlerΒ Charade Tiered Studded VaseΒ with an assortment of Peonies,Β C. Wonder Silver Pom Pom Drink Stirrers,Β Michael AramΒ coral mini frames,Β and a large cake stand filled withΒ Baked by Melissa Cupcakes. Then at the Bar, was aΒ Champagne Party Foil Art PrintΒ alongside a bucket of Moet & Chandon Champagne and a display ofΒ Β Custom Straws.
The evening was an absolute success! The women had a blast sipping champagne and loved the bite size treats, while the birthday party decor couldn’t have been more adorable – it was 100% anΒ FH approved soiree!
