With the end of summer just around the corner, I am truly planning to live it up the next few weekends, and I hope today’s post inspires you todo the same. Here are a few party ideas that will take your end of summer party from average to totally memorable. Cheers to that!
Starting with : Host a taco night! Buy hard shell tacos, stir-fry ground turkey and chicken with hot chilis, and be sure to whip up fresh guacamole! Set the table with bright plates and rather than flowers, use pineapples for centerpieces! See more in this post. Olé!
Take your drinks to the next level with a : DIY sangria bar. Find a pretty drink dispenser {I got this one at West Elm} and then use martini glasses to create a garnish bar with all of your favorite pre-sliced toppings! This post has an amazing recipe white wine sangria recipe to compliment!
#YesWayRosé : Use rosé in… everything! No joke, I am scared to count how many bottles I went through this summer. Make cocktails for him, make prosecco popsicles, even decorate an entire bar cart {like I did here}! Plus I love placing a few spare bottles alongside pink flowers as added decor on my buffet!
Think fresh : Whip up a seasonal salad! Make a home-made honey dressing that is perfectly light and tart {easy recipe in this post} and head to your local farmers market for ingredients. Summer may be over but long live the summer bod!
Be fancy : Kabobs are my go-to for summer dinner, but how fun are kabob appetizers as a change up to your go-to hummus and crudite! Stack watermelon and feta cubes, or make “salad on a stick” alternating cucumbers, tomato, and mozzarella. Then a crowd pleaser is always rolled prosciutto and melon! Display the pretty treats on a cake stand and place on your coffee table for guests to enjoy!
Hope you enjoy the remainder of your summer soirees!
