As you probably saw on my instagram, I was in the Hamptons last weekend hosting the #BloomingenBlanc Event in Sagaponack, a stunning Hamptons Party hosted by myself, blogger Lauren Nelson, and flower crown queen Crowns by Christy. Before I share the actual party post, I wanted to share some behind the scenes on my weekend in the Hamptons {from the restaurants, to the shops, to the party decor!}. Hamptons bound gals, get out your notepads!
I arrived in NYC on late Thursday night and hit the ground running early Friday making way to the Hamptons. I was so excited because I got to partner with Audi for the weekend and drive their Q7. {Getting to the Hamptons in a car was a dream; I usually relied on the Jitney or Train in the past, so it was amazing to just make our way at the time we wanted!!}. Also I quickly fell in love with the Q7. Here are some fun facts about the car: 1. The newly-designed infotainment system comes with Audi smartphone integration, which supports Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. Once you plug an iPhone or Android phone into the car, it instantly casts the user interface on the in-car screen!ย ย 2. Audi connect provides you with even more cool tech features including Google Earth with 3D satellite imagery, a Wi-Fi hotspot with 4G LTE connectivity, social media integration, local traffic, news, everything we needed to navigate through the city to make it to our destination.
Now on to the weekendโฆ Erin, my assistant, and I drove straight through the city toย South Hampton for an obligatory ice coffee at the Golden Pear, followed by a shopping pit stopย into some of my favorite South Hamptons home decor stores, L’ Objet, Aerin, and Home Nature. The light fixtures in the store Home Nature are everything!!
When we arrived at the house, we were greeted by my party co-hosts and a crew of girls busy making babys breath flower crowns. The theme of the party was white night, so everything from the flowers, to the crowns, to our outfits were to be white. Erin and I got to work chilling the Stella Artois {our party’s drink!} and then began assisting in the making of our ‘floating hashtag’. What’s a floating hashtag? The floral genius, Christy, strung foam letters with fish wire spelling out #BloomingenBlanc, which we covered in white flowers with small pins, and then placed on top of theย pool! Seriously stunning and such a good photo opp! Here are a few more looks at the party set-upย below!
That night I headed to East Hampton where I met up with Kate Rumson, founder of the Real Houses of Instagram for dinner at The Maidstone. The restaurant looks like a classic Hamptons house with green shutters – a must see if in town. We then headed to the Luxe Magazine Party at a stunning home in Sagaponack. Talk about fabulous home overload!
After the big event, we spent our last day, Sunday, inย Montauk attending a workout and panel discussion hosted by Self Magazine and Hey Mamma at the Surf Lodge. How gorgeous is this lunch table with pink and purple hydrangeas! Surf Lodge is a must for brunch in Montauk, or even better yet, a true Sunday Funday.
I must say we did a great job of covering a lot of ground in the Hamptons in such a short time. Thanks so much to Audi for helping me make my way through the Hamptons! Looking forward to sharing the big party on the blog!!
Thank you to Audi for sponsoring this post
