Strolling Gramercy Park

For today’s post I teamed up with Marshalls for a fun project called the #FABTravelingBag. The gist… each of the Project Fab Bloggers got two weeks with this cute Marshall’s find, a Catherine Malandrino Tote originally $108.00 but sold at Marshalls for $49.99, to take on one of their summer adventures. Paired back to a Mara Hoffman dress, Givenchy heels, and Rag & Bone tortoise sunglasses I was ready to head on my way.

For my adventure I chose a stroll through one of my favorite NYC streets, Irving Street, in Gramercy. Situated right along the privately gated Gramercy Park {which only people who live on the perimeter get a key to enter}, it’s a quite neighborhood filled with beautiful brownstones covered in ivy and small restaurants.

For my stroll, I started with a light breakfast of soy iced coffee and a croissant at the small coffee shop Irving Farm Roasters. Next I headed to one of my favorite Manhattan Cheese shops, Bedford Cheese Shop, which has a 15-foot cheese case! Committed to a small staff of knowledgeable cheesemongers, they guarantee experts in the field to help you with any of your cheese platter endeavors! Then I took a stroll around the perimeter of the park to see all the beautiful townhouses. To finish off my day I headed to the rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel, which is one of my go-to recommendations for visitors who want to have outdoor drinks with a beautiful setting or people who are looking for a serene venue to host a private party!!

Looking forward to seeing where the bag heads next… stay tuned with Hashtag #FABTravelingBag on social media!
