Prettiest of Instagram

A summer picnic on my patio which I featured on insta and on my blog {here}.

Today I wanted to share a glimpse of what has been most popular on my Instagram because some of these photos are just too pretty to miss. I love sharing snapshots of my #FHBehindScenes which are photos snapped on my iPhone “behind the scenes” while setting up or simply during a day in the life, and then edited on my phone in the apps Snapseed or Facetune. With the natural light in our home, the photos are often as pretty and bright as some of my professional shots {especially with a bit of enhancing!!}. In addition to the iPhone photos there are a few inspirational photos I thought you would love to browse, because if you are anything like me, a bight and airy decor photo gets me every time! Happy Monday!!

I recently shared this beautiful brunch on my blog … can we talk about how pretty the ranunculus were for the shoot?! Here’s a shot of the props on my bar prior to shooting with the photographer.

I don’t post other people’s photos often, but when I do it’s because I’m obsessed!! Here’s a photo I found from @JSHomeDesign. I always wanted a “mud room” or even a hallway for our shoes and jackets when we come in through the garage and I envision that it would look something like this!

I am prepping for my Baby Shower Party next week {follow the hashtag #FHBabySprinkle to see set-up and then actual photos from the event – I can’t wait!!!!}. This week the party props have begun to arrive, from @Sugarfina candy boxes to champagne from @LeGrandCourtage. I can’t wait to share more of the decor from the party!

In prepping for my Baby Shower, I have been browsing some of my favorite tablescapes with pops of gold, so of course this one came to mind! I am thinking to use these Oliver & Olivia plates but mix and match with white, baby blue, and pale pink napkins. Since we don’t know the sex of the baby I really want the table to go either way!!

What a summer!! We are finally back home in Miami but I have to say that spending the month of July in Aspen was incredible. Everyday we biked or walked the most gorgeous paths, and of course I was obsessed when I passed beautiful homes like this. I love traveling and taking in the different types of decor and architecture.

Since being back home I have splurged on fresh and beautiful blooms each week. The ranunculus and garden roses in particular have been stunning this season and I simply can’t get enough. I snapped this photo f my favorite BHLDN Mercury Vases on my dining table before shooting the other week and the photo just makes me smile. There’s really nothing better to me than fresh flowers!

Another thing I am obsessed with are these magnum bottles of wine that were a gift from my uncle. They have actually become my favorite new decor item! Don’t they look great on my dining room buffet cabinet?! I love a gift that doubles in use! These are from Azur Wines and Lorenza Wines but many companies sell magnums if you call the brand directly!

Last but certainly not least is one of my favorite shots… me and Reese in our matching Eberjey beach coverups earlier this summer! I can’t believe how much she has grown this summer {and how much my bump has grown! I am about to pop!!}. This was taken at 28 weeks and I am now 36!! While I love my job, my favorite job of all is being a mom to her and Brooks. I truly cannot believe I will be a mom of 3 in September!

Looking forward to another busy week!
