Host the Prettiest Summer Picnic

Summer time calls for the prettiest Summer picnic, so today I created a beautiful and delicious spread that I can’t wait to share with you all.

On the menu: pressed turkey and cheese paninis which I filled with fresh arugula before placing on a white luxe platter. Alongside the sandwiches, I served a watermelon, feta, and fresh mint salad, a cheese and grapes display, and a bowl of fresh cherries. For dessert I picked up an apple pie, but to make it my own, I decorated it with a few extra flowers from my arrangements and placed it on the sweetest mint cake stand. Then for drinks, I made lemon and grapefruit infused water with extra lemon for garnish and topped with fun pink straws.

The serving pieces I chose for my display couldn’t be more fun and bright, so I especially love these Kim Seybert Tassle Napkins. Then I chose a mix of white and pastel cake stands for all my dishes {even my cheese display!} because everything looks cuter on a cake stand, am I right?! A few of my favorites are this one, this one, and this one.

For my flowers, I chose a mix of beautiful anemones, peonies, ranunculus, and dahlias; all of my favorite Summer flowers! The mix of pinks, peach, and white, make the display all the more bright and cheery. I created a center arrangement in this fluted mercury vase {size medium} but then placed a tiny arrangement of just 2-3 stems in a bud vase at each food section! Lastly I took any left-over flowers and I placed them throughout my food… in the corner of my cheese tray, alongside my sandwiches, etc!
