Have the end-of-summer blues? Get your kids excited to head back to school by hosting a “Back to School” Party with their closest classmates. Setting up is easy! Put what you own to use – from stackable blocks sets, to lunch boxes, to their favorite books, arranging them down the center of your table as your centerpieces! Next, set a simple child-friendly table; I used melamine plates {avoiding glass is a must!}, navy diamond print napkins {machine washable}, West Elm gold flatware, and rather than cups, I served Vita Coco Kids Juice Boxes. At each child’s seat I placed a MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check Journal topped with an apple {these journals were the perfect party favor}. On the menu was a lunch-box-friendly meal of whole wheat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and bags of Pop Chips. And last for dessert, I served the cutest rice crispy treats by TREATHO– USE which had school themed frosting from scissors to pencils! The kids had a ball doodling in their notebooks and playing with the blocks… it was the perfect way to welcome in the school year.
