I am so excited to reveal the first Inspiration Board for the Formal Living Room of our new home in Nashville. When you enter our house you are greeted by a grand staircase; you can either head left into this room, the formal living room, head right into the dining room, or head straight into the great room {or family room}. When my husband and I talked about what we wanted this room to be, we envisioned a cool and swanky room {channeling Mad Men vibes} for cocktails with friends before dinner parties, or even a meeting room for business associates. The seating needed to be tailored but comfortable. I love the look of a classic tufted couch and contemporary lounge chairs with nail head accents. I chose a lot of Jonathan Adler, like the brass floor lamps, tripod side tables, and solid marble Canaan table lamps. Of course a cool bar cart completes the look and will be fully stocked with my endless glassware! Can’t wait to share the finished product!
