I was so excited when DressBar asked me to share some of my favorite Hostessing Tips for Summer. Whipping up a pink cocktail and a fresh dessert plate is always my idea of a good time. So be sure to check out my full list of tips {and outfits to match} on their website as I am the featured “Guest Guru”. Here’s a glimpse of what I made and wore for the shoot…

Hello Donuts! I am obsessed with a cake stand stacked with sugared donuts for a brunch party dessert. To compliment these sweets I wore a DressBarn Lace Sheath DressLele Sadoughi dangly earrings, and Louise et Cie wedges.

Next I hit the patio for Happy Hour with these delish cocktails and wine. My secret ingredient being a splash of pink lemonade to give my cocktails just the right sweetness {see the full recipe on their site!}. For drinks I wore a Dressbarn Leopard Print Dress and Christian Louboutin pumps.

Dress Barn for every occassion

Always planning ahead, I also laid out some outfits for some of my upcoming events this summer. For a garden party brunch I love this bright floral DressBarn number {the Belted Floral Fit-and-Flare Dress} paired back to a navy croco Gigi Gigi New York clutch, Valentino Rockstuds, and spritz of Tom Ford White Patchouli perfume. Then for a bridal shower, I love this neutral Colorblock Darby Dress dress paired back to backless pointy pumps {by Pura Lopez}, a mini structured tote by Rebecca Minkoff and bold studs by House of Harlow.
