For Fall, the whole “Sportswear” trend is huge right now. I have spotted baseball hats and track jackets on some of the most glam NYC models whether it’s for a day time stroll, or out at the hottest bars. I was skeptical as to how I could make the trend work for me {I am not one for hats unless it’s to head to the beach} so I tried it out with a striped Gap.com ‘baseball tee’. I know what you are thinking… this is hardly a forward gesture, heck, you probably owned a top like this when you played softball in middle school. But coming from a girly girl {who was happy to have been a middle school tennis player because skirts were a part of the uniform}, I was nervous about this looking really boyish and informal – would someone who saw me out that day think I just didn’t bother to get dressed? I made the outfit more “me” by wearing extra glam jewelry, sleek Current/Elliott The Coated Stretch Stiletto Jeans, a pair of wedge booties, and my studded Valentino bag. For jewels I picked a Lisa Hoffman Jewelry necklace {For those of you who don’t know her collection, it is this amazing line that infuses perfume and jewelry! All-in-all I wouldn’t say I am ready to hit the hottest clubs, but I am definitely ready for a lunch meeting and stroll through SOHO.
