Host Easter Sunday Lunch

Host an easter sunday lunch at home

While I don’t actually celebrate Easter religiously, I love hosting a celebration for the Holiday… I mean who could resist a table full of pinks, pastels, and PEEPS?!

When it comes to setting the perfect Easter table, too much color and sugar is actually a VERY good thing. While serving PEEPS, Chocolate Eggs, and Eleni’s Cookies in one sitting may seem over the top, trust me that guests will be drooling and digging in before the food is even served! Here is what you need to put this table together…

Easter Table Shopping List:

I must say that another thing I love about this table is that I could get my daughter involved in the fun! She helped assemble the plastic eggs and sprinkle candy throughout!

Now on to the details… I started by creating a PEEPS centerpiece on my Juliska Medium Cake Stand. I lined the outside in multi-colored PEEPS, then took a small glass bowl and filled it with Easter Eggs and placed it in the center. I picked up Eleni’s Cookies because they have the most ADORABLE Easter selection {the set I used comes in a beautiful box and is under $50.00 if you need a gift to bring to your hostess!!}, and placed them on pretty dessert plates around the table. I also placed pastel striped straws and more Easter Eggs on both ends of the table in crystal bowls. For the final touch, I gave each person a mini-sugar-high at their individual place setting with one peep and a few Whopper Eggs on a Jonathan Adler Zebra coaster

I hope you have a lovely and cheerful Holiday with your family and friends! And stay tuned because the week following Easter I will be doing a series of Fitness and Health related posts {in my Health section seen at left under “Get Fit”} to help de-bloat and detox from this ridiculous sugar high!!
