DIY Easter Egg Baskets with HI-CHEW

I have had so much fun sharing tons of pretty Easter content… from tablescapes for the whole family, to tablescapes for the kids, to decorating with pastels… and today I wanted to focus on the most important aspect in your kids’ minds, Easter egg baskets filled with special treats to compliment the special day.

Because my kids are 2 and 4, I brainstormed some basket ideas that I thought would work well for kids in the 2-6 age range, and I wanted to share to share these ideas/themes because there is nothing more special than crafting baskets of your own. Then what would an Easter Egg Basket be without yummy treats? So today I partnered with HI-CHEW, a yummy fruity chewy candy, {specifically their Spring Mix!} which so perfectly matches my creations in color and taste!

Starting with the baby doll lover, I created these sweet baskets filled with a cotton baby doll, a baby bottle, baby food, and even a baby rattle so your little angel can play mommy! I finished off the display with pastel easter eggs filed with strawberry and mango HI-CHEW.

Next up is your princess lover! Amazon really has a lot of great toys for this one from figurines, to Disney hair styling tools {Reese’s personal favorites!}, to books, to nail polish.

On to the boys where we have the sports lover! Again Amazon has an amazing selection, like this pre-pack of 3 sports balls. Top off any empty space with toy cars and green and blue easter eggs filled with Green Apple HI-CHEW.

Lastly, I did a basket of cars and dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are great from both an educational and playing perspective; I recommend getting a book on dinosaurs to compliment! Meanwhile, toy cars are great for all 2+.

There is nothing better than buying toys your kids will love, so I hope these ideas inspire you!

I just love enjoying sweet treats with the family and HI-CHEW are perfect this Holiday with their mini packaging; they are just the right size to place inside Easter eggs or for topping off your Easter Egg baskets. Not familiar with HI-CHEW? They are a fruity chewy candy from Japan; I personally love the mango flavor in the HI-CHEW Spring Mix bag! The HICHEW Spring Mix bag is available for purchase at WalgreensK-Mart, and Meijer.
