1. Outdoor Dining this Spring

When I think of a simply elegant outdoor tablescape, this display is exactly what comes to mind. Mixing neutrals with pops of blue, accents of golds, and just a bit of texture! I can see myself entertaining with this display well into the summer.

Starting with the place settings… I am in love with the texture of the Kim Seybert Jackson Placemats. They almost resemble sea shells with just a hint of gold! And then topped off with Kim Seybert Pom Pom Napkins that have amazing bright tassels in neon green and blue… I am obsessed! I paired these back to white Baroque dinner plates from World Market {which I actually use as everyday dinner plates in the Spring} and gold flatware from West Elm.

Then I am in love with these over-sized ginger jars {similar} packed with lush white, green, and blue blooms. Blue Hydrangeas, White Calla Lillys, White Tulips, and Bupleurum are a few of the flowers I chose… and because they are a bit wild, it doesn’t take too much arranging to make them look pretty… the messier the better! The key was to only have a few pops of blue.

Because I chose my gold stemware, I once again used my Olivia & Oliver glassware for water and white wine. Of course this lunch is catered to adults or I would have chosen something acrylic for outdoor!

For this party I used my buffet table behind my dining table for added decor and served my food on the coffee table where the candles are in the above photo {I will share what I served in my next blog post}. I found gorgeous aqua blue ceramic lanterns at HomeGoods, so I scoured online and found a bunch of similar options in white and aqua for you to shop below!

I look forward to sharing more details on what I served later this week, but I hope you have fun pinning these beautiful ideas for you next outdoor dinner party! Be sure to check back in!

  2. Kick off Spring with this Tablescape

Spring is here so I wanted to host a beautiful, bright, and healthy affair for guests on my patio. On my table… gorgeous and lush floral arrangements, an over-flowing cheese board of Spring favorites, individual cheese boards at each table setting {a detail guests always love!}, and a selection of healthy juices {because something about Spring sparks everyones interest in healthy eating!}. I am excited to share a closer look at all the details… There is nothing more inviting that a huge cheese board exploding with options awaiting guests as they arrive. For today’s platter I chose manchego, brie, goat, and cubed white cheddar…

  3. Host the perfect Spring Night at Home

The definition of  ‘a perfect Spring night’ to me is a night spent on a comfy couch or porch with a delicious bottle of rosé wine, light snacks, beautiful flowers, and great friends. Many people have asked what my ideal set-up for something like this would look like and the reality lies in these photos. Here’s a snapshot of my living room {aka #ChateauFH on Instagram}, my favorite Juliska wine glasses, my usual vases filled with flowers, and a few delicious treats. Setting the mood starts with a fabulous glass of wine… my go-to rosé is Whispering Angel which I love to serve in…

  4. Brunching with the Aerin Collection

I love hosting brunch, especially this time of year when we can enjoy a relaxing meal with friends at our breakfast table and then head outside with the kids to play on the playground or swim in the pool! For these sorts of occasions I love brightening up the table with a hint of color, and Williams Sonoma Home’s new AERIN Collection with stunning hues of blue, could not be more perfect for my Spring tablescape! I am so excited to share a look into our breakfast nook and share some of my favorite new pieces from Williams Sonoma Home at today’s brunch…

  5. Tea Party with Melli Mello by Lenox

I am excited to collaborate with Lenox today sharing the cutest tea party I created with their Melli Mello collection, exclusively sold at Macy’s. I decided to trade in my usual coffee shop date with girl friends for a morning at home with tea and scones! The Melli Mello vintage-inspired floral set was perfectly elegant for the affair. My favorite pieces are the oversized teapot {with its beautiful butterfly and floral designs}, the two-tiered porcelain cake stand with gold detailed handle, and the dinner plates, because I am having a serious moment with stripes! To throw my tea party, I made an organic green tea, served an array of classic…
