1. Kick off Spring with this Tablescape

Spring is here so I wanted to host a beautiful, bright, and healthy affair for guests on my patio. On my table… gorgeous and lush floral arrangements, an over-flowing cheese board of Spring favorites, individual cheese boards at each table setting {a detail guests always love!}, and a selection of healthy juices {because something about Spring sparks everyones interest in healthy eating!}. I am excited to share a closer look at all the details…

There is nothing more inviting that a huge cheese board exploding with options awaiting guests as they arrive. For today’s platter I chose manchego, brie, goat, and cubed white cheddar for my cheeses. Then I chose sliced salami, green olives, and cornichons for a hint of salty, and dates, cranberry crackers, and apple slices for a bit of sweetness. Bread sticks and cucumbers were the final additions, topped off with a sprinkle of fresh ground pepper all over! This cheese board is from Nambe and the cheese knife is from Julia Knight.

Last Spring I gave each guest a personal wooden cutting board with appetizers and it was a hit, so today I created a version of that with antipasto favorites… sliced white cheddar, cranberry crackers and a small bowl of olives. I love that this serves a healthy and delicious alternative to bread and butter!

Everyone wants to be a bit healthier come Spring so I thought a delicious juice bar would be a popular station. I whipped up some home-made juices {I recommend ones in different colors!} and placed them in these beautiful Juliska carafes. Alongside the juices I placed these beautiful Juliska glasses in their Berry & Thread pattern. After guests poured their drink of choice, I offered them a selection of fresh fruits and a stalk of mint to top of the drink. I recommend fruits like pineapple, oranges, and strawberries!

Like I mentioned in my recent Spring Tablescape Styling Post, this season I am embracing the natural tones and textures of my outdoor tables rather than hiding them under a tablecloth {and I have to say this Frontgate table is so gorgeous… I am not sure why I ever cover it up!!}.  One thing I will note for those of you choosing to skip a tablecloth is that I highly recommend placing your plate on top of a charger {in this post mine are Villeroy & Boch in white, which I love because they match back to everything}!

A few more details I LOVE about this table… the gorgeous crystal-like flatware from Kim Seybert. I was on a huge gold kick and these transitioned me back to silver, plus the lucite material is perfectly light and airy for Spring/ Summer. Then the Juliska white wash napkin rings because I have been looking for napkin rings that could work for a casual or fancy table, indoor or outdoor, and these do exactly that. I created a shop the post feature below so you can shop all of my favorite pieces from the posts! I am excited for a busy Spring.

  2. Host the perfect Spring Night at Home

The definition of  ‘a perfect Spring night’ to me is a night spent on a comfy couch or porch with a delicious bottle of rosé wine, light snacks, beautiful flowers, and great friends. Many people have asked what my ideal set-up for something like this would look like and the reality lies in these photos. Here’s a snapshot of my living room {aka #ChateauFH on Instagram}, my favorite Juliska wine glasses, my usual vases filled with flowers, and a few delicious treats. Setting the mood starts with a fabulous glass of wine… my go-to rosé is Whispering Angel which I love to serve in…

  3. Tea Party with Melli Mello by Lenox

I am excited to collaborate with Lenox today sharing the cutest tea party I created with their Melli Mello collection, exclusively sold at Macy’s. I decided to trade in my usual coffee shop date with girl friends for a morning at home with tea and scones! The Melli Mello vintage-inspired floral set was perfectly elegant for the affair. My favorite pieces are the oversized teapot {with its beautiful butterfly and floral designs}, the two-tiered porcelain cake stand with gold detailed handle, and the dinner plates, because I am having a serious moment with stripes! To throw my tea party, I made an organic green tea, served an array of classic…

  4. Flower Garlands & Lenox China

How stunning is this table? I love that the element of the flower garland table runner suddenly takes this beautiful china to the next level! So today I wanted to share details on the gorgeous garland and sweet little arrangements, as well as a look at the beautiful gold China by Lenox, because with the Holidays around the corner, it’s time to start shopping for new pieces for your Holiday table. This tablescape was actually a display table I created for the Brushes and Bubbly Event I hosted at my home last week. A group of select Miami Bloggers attended a night of…

  5. Host a Garden Party

Spring Flowers + Macarons + Rose wine

While my photographer was away the last few weeks, I had a bit of extra time on my hands to brainstorm for my next Spring tabletop. I headed to Pinterest where I quickly fell in love with the stunning outdoor entertaining elements that Spring allows, and excitedly began to create a garden party board collecting all of my favorite pictures. The common themes throughout these images were the stunning Spring floral arrangements, the bright plates and glassware, and the daintiest party foods displayed on gorgeous cake stands. I started a list of my favorite ideas which came together to create this beautiful tabletop. Because I am so…
