Now that Fall has kicked off, I am excited to start creating an array of harvest-inspired tablescapes for my upcoming dinner parties. And, what I love most about these tabletops is that with all the fabulous Fall veggies in stores, you really don’t have to go crazy on flowers to create a beautiful centerpiece arrangement!

For today’s post I partnered with Pier 1 to create the perfect Fall Tabletop and I was ecstatic because I have been eyeing their copper collection, like their Moscow Mule Mugs and matching pitcher for some time. {See my moscow mule recipe here.} They also have some the cutest décor pieces, like this chalkboard sign that reads “ Gather Family & Friends” – which is totally my motto because I am always about ‘the more the merrier’ come the holidays {this one I bought in-stores but they have a similar option online here}. I also thought that their Antique Scroll Dinner Plates meshed perfectly with the rustic vibe, while simultaneously dressing it up.

To create this table I really got busy with my DIY’s. Since moving into our house I have been having way too much fun spray-painting. So here I spray-painted magnolia leaves gold which I placed along-side a DIY hand-printed menu card and sprig of eucalyptus at each seat. I also spray-painted pinecones and mini pumpkins in white to ensure that the look was more ‘harvest’ than ‘Halloween’. The centerpiece of the table was an assortment of staggered candles and on either end of the table I stacked my Fall veggies on beds of gold magnolia leaves {on the front end even using a cake stand for added height!}. The last sweet detail was placing a sprig of rosemary in each napkin which I secured with a string of burlap. The green ties back to the pops of greenery in my squash and adds that fresh smell of Fall to the dinner table!

Come dinner time I always have the lights dimmed, candles lit, and the music playing. As the weather cools down and we head into Holiday time I am all about cozying up with the classics. Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, you name it. Then since moving to Nashville I have started embracing country, so as we wrap up dinner and head out to the porch to enjoy a few more drinks outside I transition to some of my country favorites.

Cheers to the perfect Fall meal!
