1. November Neutral Lip Picks

    November Lips

Remember when I first started experimenting with bold lip color {see my bright red and pop pink picks here}? Well for Fall I am all about the neutral colors. What I love about a neutral lip is that it really gives you a chance to play up your blush which is something you can NOT do with a bright lip {my go-to blush in this case is the NARS Multiple Stick in Orgasm}. So how do you pick the right color for you? A little tip I learned via Harpers Bazaar cc Jeanine Lobell, “For someone with a fairer complexion, a nude that’s too beige-y will appear yellow; instead pick a nude that’s in the pale pink family… For medium tones, I would use a deeper beige to rose nude.”

So what neutrals are you finding in my bag {*Note they look darker on the packaging than they appear!!}:

  2. FENDI Luxury Living Launch Event

Last week I was crazy busy attending some of my favorite brand’s events in NYC {Make sure you check out my recap from Baccarat‘s event as well!}. The Grand Opening of the Luxury Living / FENDI Casa Showroom in NYC  hosted by Margaret Russell, Editor in Chief of Architectural Digest, along with Luxury Living‘s CEO Alberto Vignatelli was an especially memorable one. The actual showroom space equates to 11,000 square feet of stunning furniture. 11,000 square feet is large anywhere but it is an absolute monstrosity in New York – I arrived with my friends Mad Wolf and Unbuttoning Pants and I was terrified…

  3. Organize your Desk

Since I work from home, I decided it was high-time to pack up my laptop from my dining room table and create a quiet workspace/ mini office for myself. We live in a two bedroom apartment where one room is ours and the others is the FHBs {view her nursery here}, so I was limited on options of where to place it. While some people just squeeze a desk into their living room because it’s where they have the most spare space, I just couldn’t bare the thought of guests seeing it when they came over {a view of my living…

  4. Baccarat’s 250th Anniversary Book Launch

This past Wednesday I attended an exclusive Baccarat event celebrating the official book launch of Baccarat: Two Hundred and Fifty Years at their Flagship store in NYC. Author and renowned design aficionado Murray Moss was present greeting guests and signing books, while the most gorgeous wait staff passed champagne and delicious hors d’oeuvres… caviar being my favorite. Already incredibly familiar with the line from my wedding registry {you may have recognized one of their vases in this post and this post}, I was excited to be visiting a store with endless sparkles. The crowd was just as exciting and energetic as the backdrop. Guests were…

  5. Vodka Thyme Lemonade Cocktail

Last week my girlfriend Morgan visited New York, so we went to grab some delicious cocktails {check out other cocktails on FH} at ABC Kitchen which is a gorgeous restaurant attached to one of my favorite home stores ABC Home in the Flatiron district. We decided to order cocktails, which I am always hesitant todo since 1. I am a loyal Pinot Grigio drinker, and 2. Cocktails often tend to be too sweet for my liking. Morgan recommended we order two to share so we could switch if we weren’t happy, so I began browsing the menu of endless intriguing options {see the full…
